As part of the Viega applications requiring registration, we must collect and process certain personal data from you as your access data. We use Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management (IAM) software, to manage users and authenticate external users (customers) for our applications.

We use Syntlogo (Syntlogo GmbH, Mercedesstraße 1, 71063 Sindelfingen, Germany, https://www.syntlogo.de/) as a data processor, which assists us, among other things, with the configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Keycloak infrastructure and may process your personal data for this purpose.

Storage period

We delete this data when you delete your user account.

Legal basis

The legal basis for this processing of personal data is a contractual relationship with you (Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR).

If you contact us by e-mail via a contact form, a service form or by telephone, we will process your data to handle your enquiry.

If you provide us with feedback voluntarily or as part of one of our surveys, we process your data for the purpose of completing the survey and of evaluating and, if necessary, implementing your feedback.

If necessary, we may obtain separate consent from you to your data being processed as part of a survey.

We reserve the right to make your data available to the moderators of the event for the purpose of organising the event. In addition, we use this data to send you event-related materials created after the event. If you take part in Viega events, we process your data for the purpose of providing you with information and evaluating the event.

In the context of a participant list, we will obtain separate consent from you to publish your data, for example to pass it on to other participants.

Our events are very important to us because the topics are important to us. We are therefore also interested in publishing image and sound recordings of the event and its participants on the company website, in social media channels or in newsletters for external presentation and reporting.

The recordings and photographs are reproduced in press products, on streaming platforms, social media and on the radio.

Storage period

The images you provide will be stored until you object to their storage in accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, unless there are overriding legitimate grounds for the processing within the meaning of Art. 21 (1) (2) GDPR.

Legal basis

The legal basis for this processing of personal data is the legitimate interest of Viega and persons who do not have the opportunity to participate in the event. (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Viega's legitimate interest lies in the detailed and informative reporting on the event. The legitimate interest of third parties lies in participating in the event without being on site.

When you enter our site, you will be informed that certain areas are monitored by CCTV.
