    • Checked in accordance with AS/NZS 4129
    • Dimensions d 25–63 with Smart Connect Feature
    • Suitable for working on a building site, made of fiber-​glass reinforced polymer - hygienically acceptable for all drinking water
    • Threaded connections in accordance with AS ISO 7.1 (sealing pipe thread) and AS 1722.2 or ISO 228.1 (Fastening pipe thread)

    Tapping valves
    Geopress tapping valves are used to connect service connection lines to the following pressurised drinking water supply pipes.
    • AS/NZS 4130 Polyethylene (PE) pipes for pressure applications SDR 11 Series 1,2 & 3 Pipes

    With operating shut-​off valve for service connection lines, sizes d 63‑200.

    Checked and licensed in accordance with AS/NZS 4129 and WMTS-012 and W 336 for pWater = 1600 kpa.

    Operating conditions
    The maximum operating pressure and maximum temperature are dependent on the type of pipe used and the specific usage.
    Tmax = 20 °C applies for use in drinking water supply.

    Using the system for any other uses than those described must be agreed with the Viega Service Center using the Material Inquiry form.

    Use of press tools
    The functional safety of the Viega press connector system depends primarily on the flawless state of the press machine and pressing tools used. This is why we recommend using Viega pressing tools to create press connections and having these tools inspected regularly by authorised service points.
